Aromas are vessels of surprises encapsulated in motion. They invite us to trace them, to follow their paths, and to discover the stories they awaken within us.
In this workshop, we will gift ourselves a morning to immerse in the world of aromas as triggers for creativity. We will explore how the senses can open new pathways of attention, imagination, and connection with what we create.
The senses are one of our primary gateways to relating with the world. Through them, we receive and filter stimuli according to our history, our inquiries, and what we are currently living. The body holds an extraordinary capacity to adjust its focus: to fix, shift, soften, or deepen attention depending on what we are engaging with.
Working with the senses allows us to nourish that relationship. We can reinvent it, strengthen it, diversify it, or clarify it. Each person chooses, within their creative world, what resonates and feels right. To inhabit sensory curiosity and map our explorations is a way of facing creativity directly.
In this workshop, we will use aromas as a vehicle to play, explore, and open new pathways of perception.
About Nat
Nat is Mexican, a chemist, a specialist in sensory analysis, a wine producer, a somatic educator, and has been training tasters for over twenty years. Her life path has led her to closely observe how aromas are born in nature, how they organize, transform, and are preserved.
This space is designed especially for creators: artists, musicians, writers, poets, producers, fermenters, and cooks. For all nervous systems that create, improvise, and interpret.
A meeting point for those who enjoy the pleasure of connection and the careful selection of the stimuli we choose to inhabit in life.
We will gift ourselves a moment of exploration, curiosity, and learning around the world of aromas—a space that seeks to build bridges between disciplines and the resources of sensory creativity that often inhabit neighboring territories.
